how can I get road runner on two computers without having to pay time warner $10 per month for an additional compter.

By using a router it is not possible for them to know how many computers are connected at once. It will have one MAC address and it will only pull 1 IP address from their service. There is nothing wrong at all with using your own router. But do not try a hub or switch like others suggested.

If you have a router or a switch go and buy an external hardrive that can be accessed via your router or switch. This become a network hard drive. You then can install the Road Runner legally on the network harddrive and have it available for both computers. Now here is the draw back most Ethernet Ready network hard Drives are $180+. For 160GB. Mine is Iomega and I use it for games and movies.

no way they nail you with that! Its not even supposed to be legal to put any program on 2 computers just everyone does it anyway

Use a router or switch. THIS ISN"T ILLEGAL....Just go buy a D-Link router, configure it and enjoy...illegal.what a dumb A$$.
