Moving to the city/region that I live in.

It may as well be a ghost town. The farmers are all going bankrupt. Industries have all shut their doors and moved on. The only good jobs that people have are those that are achieved by bullying others to get them or by knowing somebody in the company. Otherwise you have to be satisfied with supporting a family on less than $10 an hour, which doesn't even get you a bachelor apartment here.

If I could do it all over, I would never have moved here but may instead have chosen Toronto or Ottawa.

I systematically plotted to remove an employee of mine. She wasn't a good worker, she was getting paid way too much for what she did, but she was a real sweet lady that I liked a lot. However, budget realities overshadow personal favoritism, if I hadn't let her go, it would have impacted my ability to give my other employees raises and bonuses.

Nevertheless, firing her was the worst thing ever.

Inquisitive little fellow, aren't you? I ran away from home when I was 17... my sister (who is 8 years younger than me) thought it was her fault. When I came back, I found out she had been drawing me pictures everyday, writing notes saying she was sorry and would I please come home, and leaving them on my pillow. I made my Dad cry, and broke my Momma's heart. I still feel terrible when I think about it. Even though I felt like I had a good reason at the time, I feel like a rat for doing that to my family. 'Scuse me, gotta go blow my nose....

Lie to join the Marine Corps. Then at boot camp I freaked out and told the truth to get out. They discharged me for fraudulent enlistment. I never stopped regretting it. I should have never lied. I just needed an escape route, and the Marine Corps came just in time.

I made my dad cry... I'll never forgive myself. That's the worst I could have done. I've got nothing to add... I was an idiot then...
