I mean...if you're a straight man and you like transvestites...If it talks like a girl...acts like a girl...looks like a girl...why don't you just get...um...a girl...I guess the same could be asked for gay guys who like feminine guys...I don't get it?

First, some definitions:
transvestite: a person who dresses and acts in a style or manner traditionally associated with the opposite sex.
transsexual: one who wishes to be considered by society as a member of the opposite sex (either before or after an operation to physical alter the individual's physical sex).
Most straight men don't like transvestites. Transvestites are actually usually straight men who receive sexual satisfaction from dressing and acting as the opposite sex. These individuals do NOT want to change sexes. Transsexuals, on the other hand, actually have the intention of becoming the other sex and gender. Because surgery and hormones can usually give these individuals mostly functional sex organs (not useful for reproduction...), there's not much discernable difference. If it talks like a girl, acts like a girl, looks like a girl, identifies as a girl, it is, for all intents and purposes, a girl.
Gay guys who like feminine guys... that's kind of just it. They like feminine guys. Not feminine girls. In this case, it is a matter of sexual attraction. Feminine gay men don't look like girls, they don't really talk like girls (okay, so there's some affectation, but you can usually tell the difference), they don't act like girls (again, affectation, but they don't wear dresses or obscene amounts of face make-up), etc. They're still men. They're just more feminine.
Drag queens are an entirely different story... Because that's just an act, just for entertaining, and doesn't involve sex or sexuality at all.

Because we're fun and can relate to both male and female.
they're curious and want to now our obsession and how we do things.
We don't have the same pluming as a girl. But we don't come with the same problems women have either. Not to say I don't admire and love women. Because that is part of our obsession with the beauty of the feminine. It's not the same as gay guy who likes feminine guys. Were not trying to attract men but expressing our femininity.

Okay, well let's lay out the facts here. Man marries a woman, both are straight. Don't think about who "used" to be what, because it's all an outer shell. Transgendered people feel like they were born in the wrong body, and they're just changing themselves to match. It's not about used to be.

I am with you on this one I have never gotten into the whole genderbending thing but to each his own. I am a bisexual and if I want a woman I go home to the wife. If I want a man I head to the gym, I do not want to be with a man who is looking like a woman If I want a man I want a MAN someone who is masculine and you know he is a man. I definately dont want a queen, I dont understand effeminate men either they kind of freak me out. And drag queens dont get me started. I am less afraid of clowns and clowns terrify me. (don't ask) but as always too each his own.

you shouldnt call us an it ,i dress fem and act as one and usually am refered to as she,,or her or other feminine name.Most gay men arent attracted to crossdressers because they like men,and we are not masculine,but dress look,and act feminine
