Try a wood soap/cleaner/polish. It's usually a orange or lemon scented oil based product.

Hi Janice,
For stale odors in cabinets, you can use baking soda or place a bowl of vinegar(white) in the cabinets for a few days...I've heard that odoreaters work well, too...hope that does the trick....good luck.

make a mixture of bleach and water and wipe out the cabinets, then put an open container of baking soda in the cabinets and let it sit, it will obsorb any odors left in the cabinet.

Place a box of baking soda in the cabinets just like you would in the refridgerator.

If you mean the wood itself like the doors murphy's oil soap works great and makes them look new again even if covered in years of cooking grease!!

I agree with Angie. I sit vinegar out around the house in a pretty bowl. keeps my house smelling great. But I also clean with it, floors etc. good luck!

I use OdoBan for wood smells. You can buy it at Sams. It has a very pleasant smell.
