Many things, but probably a bladder infection or STD. Check it out with your Dr.

Don't waste your time with the cranberry juice and water. You need to go to the doctor right away so he/she can put you on antibiotics (if it is in fact a bladder/urinary tract infection). The usual treatment is 2 pills a day for 3 days. Your symptons will start to lessen by the 2nd day of pills. Waiting too long to be put on antibiotics can lead to serious side effects. So while the cranberry juice and water may help lessen the symptons, or help in the prevention of an infection, you still need to go to a doctor ASAP to get a diagnosis and some antibiotics.

Usually its a case of urinary tract infection.
Taking Tylenol for the pain and drinking lots of water and cranberry juice will clear it up quickly. If you don't notice any changes then see a doctor, who will have you take a urine test to see if there is a high amount of e.coli in there. They usually prescribe a antibiotic for you. Take all of your medication, even if your don't feel bad anymore. Not taking it will cause a recurrence of UTI and another trip to the doctor for more meds.
To prevent UTI, drink cranberry juice daily (it works by sticking the infecting germs together to help flush them out of your body), pee before and after sex, and wear breatheable undies.

a burning sensation when you pee could be a symptom of many different infections (like a urinary tract infection or even a sexually transmitted disease) to be sure of exactly what's going on you'll have to go to your doctor and give a urine sample. once your doctor figures out the cause they'll be able to prescribe you medicine like antibiotics to help you.
