Calmly talk to your parents and whatever you do, DON'T WHINE! Explain that you won't swear, curse, or use the language in the songs, because you know it is wrong. Explain that you know why this music is explicit and you understand their concerns. You may just have to deal with the "clean" versions, but they really are not too bad.

Just ask her what she is comfortable with you listening to. Explain to her that this is your favorite singer and it's not the words that matter to you the most, it's the music. If she's not comfortable with it, perhaps you can get a clean version.
