I would say China because of the vast economic power they are weilding with our help, then I would say Iran as they have the wealth and the desire to destroy another race of the earth and lastly North Korea and only because the leader is such an inept moron that he only wants to grand stand and eventually he is going to go to far and start another war on that pennisula. A small response to the person or people who say we are our own worst enemy (LEAVE) NOW BACK TO MY POINT. I have no idea where you live but I will guess that it is a big city and you have lived next to your neighbor 5 years and do not even know there names or vaguely know them... I hope you know what I am getting at here!

My own is my number 1 and the most dangerous enemy, in my opinion, is North Korea.

You forgot to include Israel. The Israeli lobby in the States controls just about everything and is directing the USA policy, which so far has not been in favor of the American people or anyone else except for Israel.
Israel is coercing the leaders of the U.S. into these wars where thousand are dying for Israel's sake, not to mention the physical and psychological effect of these wars on all sides.
Please note that I am saying Israel and not saying Jewish people because there is a distinction.

Dangerous in what way?
Economically? China.
Who poses the biggest threat to the world in general? I think Iran, but I think ANY theocracy is an abomination that must be stopped.
Actually, KATE C has the best answer.

"America is it's most dangerous enemy...Under the Bush administration anyway!------America can't even help it's own citizens during the aftermath of a natural disaster...America can't keep illegal immigrants or drug smugglers out, but they are in Iraq keeping terrorists out, making the world safer?"
Yeah I heard a poll and a majority of europeans think USA is a threat. This is a continent that caused two world wars, Ethnic cleansing, sponsoring terroisim in palestine, etc..
USA is liberating the nation of Iraq. The Iraqi people voted for a pro-US candidate who wants US there. So how are you going to argue with this? The prime minister of Iraq was crying and said two words in english to USA "thank you". It is something the European media "forgot" to write about
Grow up, USA is the world's power but doesn't let power go to its head.
Hurricane Katrina was such a mess because most people lived there were poor and didn't get out in time. Did you expect the cops to fly in with wings and pick everyon eup?
mexican illegal immigrants don't blow things up in the name of allah as your Islamic LEGAL immigrants do in Europe. Plus Illegals are being deported.

The greatest danger today is not European anti=Americanism, but American anti-Americanism. The greatest danger is if America is no longer ready to play America—the benign superpower that pays a disproportionate price to maintain the system of which it’s the biggest beneficiary. This could happen because Congress becomes too cheap or stupid, or because our economy becomes too enfeebled, or because we have an administration dominated by people unwilling to put any limits on U.S. behavior, from energy consumption to missile defense. That sore of America, if taken to extremes, could nullify our attractiveness and generate an alliance against us.

None of the above, If you are a patriot and have been seeing our civil rights slowly being taken away, then you will see it is our own leaders.
Why have americans become such cowards as to let our leaders compimise our civil rights in the name of terrorism? What ever happened to our love of freedon? How we would rather die than live in tyranny? We have abandoned what America stands for cuz W thinks it is "Safer" to give up our civil rights.

The other countries of the world would vote for the US, with 10,000 nuclear missles, (and a democratic fervor to push it on all the rest of the world--"because, it's the best, and GB says so", and he's the "decider" of what's best for the world.
For us, as citizens, our governments' power.
China is gearing up to be a problem in the "near?" future.
