For the people saying that the USA is their least favorite team to win, I have to say that you are all just jumping on the bandwagon of people bashing the united states. More than likely, you don't want the USA to win because of their political climate, and not because of their outstanding sportsmanship or their love of the game. Make this decision about soccer and not about whats going on politically in the world. Who cares if soccer isn't big in the united states? Who cares if the United states dominates in basically every sport and wins the olympics every time? Who cares if we are in a controversial war right now? They all have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with soccer and the love of the most played game in the world.
Now back to the question. My least favored teams to win the cup that are still eligible to win (I'm discounting the teams that can't advance past this round because they are not allowed to win the cup then) would have to be Argentina and Ecuador. For the record I have nothing against Latin America, I just do not want these teams to win. I don't want argentina to win because they simply do no deserve to because they are playing againgst shitty teams in their shitty bracket (serbia and montenegro anyone?) and simply don't deserve to advance based on luck of the draw. I don't want ecuador to win because they are playing extremely rough and dirty and, when pitted againgst a boss country like germany, show their true colors and flounder behind.
Thats my opinion. I'm sorry if I've offended you in any way, but I take this stuff seriously and I think I'm pretty unbiased about it.

The USA, because football is not a sport for Americans in the sense Europeans, South Americans experience it and Americans wouldn't appreciate the title as other countries obsessed with football would do. Imagine all the ppl in Brazil, Italy, England living for and celebrating their national teams, crying over a loss or for not qualifying. That's something you could hardly say about the Americans

Mostly purhaps, because they were the most overhyped team, as well as not performing up too their expectations and actually being one of the poorest playing teams in the cup!

I agree with sugarlips. I would hate to see the USA win. It would make me sick. Luckily, our team isn't very good so I don't have to worry about it.
