We were away from the house for several days and when we came back the hamster's nails were brown, the tips of his ears grey, the tip of his tail dark, and his skin is peeling on his feet. What is the problem? It costs $45 dollars to take him to the vet but he only costs 10 bucks to buy. I want to help him. Does anyone know what the problem is? (he had food and water and we cleaned the cage before we left.)

Vets do no longer continually wrap up a hamster's broken limb. they each each now and then purely enable it heal certainly. Their limbs are so tiny it may well be no longer trouble-free to wrap it because it is. If the limb isn't broken, yet purely paralyzed, there's no longer something a vet can do for that. For now, take the wheel out of the cage and shop her in a quiet room. She desires relax. it is going to heal on it particularly is very own in spite of the indisputable fact that it would desire to no longer heal precisely immediately. shop her food on the element of her nest so she would not might desire to circulate very some distance to consume some thing.

go to petsmart with your hamster. I have 4 hamsters and that hasn't happened. Weird. Maybe he needs vitamins. Petsmart sells the vitamin drops. I hope he gets better. :)
