No, I can't stand the game myself. Do get some enjoyment denigrating the England side and supporting their opposition at work at the moment though.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I hate Football, but I would rather watch Dr Phill, and I haven't done that in more than two years and don't plan on it ever again, if you know what I mean!

An interesting unofficial study occurred at the height of the Bruce Lee craze! Many American jocks talked themselves into training in one Martial Art or another, with the idea that it would keep them in shape during the off season. Even Muhammad Ali started taking Tae Kwondo!

It may have helped him, but all of the others went downhill quickly! Japans Ace baseball Slugger tried Bato sword drawing and cutting mats and couldn't finish in the top teens! Jim Kelly quit altogether in mid season I think. Anyway the point is none of the martical arts training prove helpful to ball players! So you gotta ask yourself what is that junk anyway?

I am the reverse side of the coin, I love it and am a woman, and as a result, suffer greatly from men talking down at me regarding football, presuming that I would automatically know nothing about it.

Aren't stereotypes so utterly ridiculous eh??

I don't like football, my husband doesn't like football, and neither do ANY of my male friends!

The only male I do know that likes football is my dad.

At least it means I get control of the TV during the football season and get something good to watch!

I assume when you say football you mean Soccer. No cant stand it. A bunch of overpayed clowns chasing a ball round a field.
No it aint for me. No way. However i think there are not many of us men who hate the game. We must be strong together and unite against this evil!!

You are not alone. I hate pro football and always have. The fact that they make so much money is obscene and their little "victory dances" are just juvenile. They contribute nothing to mankind, unless you consider pap for the masses a contribution.

Your not along. I hate football, the hype, the attitude, the assumption everyone loves it - it's all toss.

I prefer to go shopping. Tell a girl this and she's yours! During world cup season you can clean up!!!!

I do, and I am a man. Or rather, I don't mind the game, it is spoiled by the sorts of people who are associated with it. And the ridiculous amounts of money paid to the players.
