Ient SLI after owning for 1 week, and need a little more juice for it (getting 4800).

i recommend this cpu, i have one myself overclocked 500mhz to 2500mhz out of the box on stock voltages. faster than a X2 4800. i love mine

apply the paste to the processor not too much though just a small amountabout the size of a the letter "o" on your keyboard then secure the heatsink in place. Make sure Both sides are clean and dry. No Oil or dust. If you feel insecure about doing the job then I recommend taking it to your local Pc Shop they should give you some advice in performing the task. Good Luck. Hope it helps.

Will it plug in place of my old duron 1600, or do i need a new motherboard?
Otherwise i'm quite happy with the Pentium-M 1.73 in this new laptop, it seems easily fast enough for anything i can chuck at it (though there's some slowdown when XP starts to abuse the hard drive... unrelated problem) and it's about 12x faster than the old one

sell it to someone you know. or sell it on ebay .or give it to someone to sell on ebay .last but not least give it to someone to sell to someone else who may wound up selling it on ebay.just make sure you get whats yours in the end.
