Me and my friends are going to the sox game on july 3rd and we dont want to drive b/c of the dan ryan situation, how would we go about getting from the south suburbs, Tinley Park, to Sox Park? I know the metra line doesnt stop at 35th st, but is there a way we can take it to lasalle st station and then take the red line back out? and if we could take the red line, where would we get on if we were already at lasalle st station? Thanks a bunch!

DEFINITELY take the train to LaSalle Street station, then walk (or cab) to the Red Line. The cabbie can drop you right on State Street. At that point the Red Line is the subway. Take it south to 35th street. Depending on where you are on State Street there can be perhaps five stops before you get to 35th Street.

And you're right to call it Comiskey Park!

Have a great time!
