there are a few estimates (keep in mind they could be off), like:
there are 50 new stars every year in our galaxy
half of these develop solar systems
0.4 planets per system are habitable
90% develop life
10%of those will be intelligent
10% of intelligent life could communicate with other life in space
civilization lasts for about 10,000 years
so there should be about 900 civilizations that we can communicate with today
the estimates may be wrong, but it would be unscientific to immediately come to a conclusion that aliens dont or do exist before getting good proof

Guaranteed,
Our universe is too big for us to ever comprehend. Our universe is also a single branch of a gigantic multiverse (according to string theory and loop quantum gravity) that is probally made of billions upon trillions of universes. The chances of our planet being the only one with life (if all above info is correct) is basically zero.

I believe that we just haven't found it. However, go ahead and think there isn't if there isn't any proof. I find it hard to believe we are the only ones in the wide universe. How lonely we feel...

I thinks so deeply.

The universe is so big, containing so many planets and suns, it just seems exceedingly improbable that there won't be any other planet without conditions for life.

My humble opinion: Absolutely. The universe would be the prime example of wasted space if there isn't.
