It has only been since about 1990 that atronomers have been able to find proof of planets outside our solar system.

Since planets don't light up like stars, they are real hard to find. As of now, they have only found about 184 planets.

We have just recently been able to find planets, I think mostly larger planets, too large for life as we now it. Unfortunately, we don't have any way to travel to those planets.

If there are aliens out there, and they have space travel, they may not have even noticed our found our small planet.

In such a large universe, I think life exists somewhere.

The most certain statement I can say is that there probably are no spacefaring civilizations in close proximity to our solar system.

If we do ever discover these other beings, I would think that they would be forbidden to communicate with us because of our sinful nature.
I believe they exist in other galaxies but they are most and likely pure and didn't make the same mistakes we made. They probably don't know what hate and murder is and sarcasm and so forth. They would be terrified of our nature.
