Surely if its more than 3 he'd put Wallcott on wouldn't he? Or we might only have 1 striker!!

only 3 per game... if a player gets a red card after 3 subs have been made, then tough luck...... England normally subs either defenders or midfielders, it was a good hing they put gerrard in the game... that goal was amazing.... but they slipped up and let the 2nd sweden goal go in....

and if a player gets a red card after all 3 subs have been made its not "tough luck" the team is not allowed to replace him anyway

3 per game, and if a team needs to sub for an injury, that counts as one.
