ARE THE INSURGENTS ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS OR ARE THEY CONSIDERED TO BE JUST VICTIMS AND WILL GO UNPUNISHED?

Do really think that these insurgents will be tried for their crimes against humanity? I do not think they will. Their culture is different than Americans and they have no reason to think they did anything wrong. To them they are the ones that have been invaded and they are just protecting what is theres!

Remember, this is not a "War" under our constitutional definition or under the Geneva Convention.
Yes, I think that they should be punished but since this is not a conventional war and is taking place where it is, they probably will not be. After all, hasn't the Iraqi government offered amnesty to all 'Iraqis' in the 'insurgency' who have killed Americans and Iraqis?

We can retaliate and kill as many insurgents as possible and any innocent civilians that happen to be nearby. That may or may not teach them a lesson. My guess is that it won't and we remain in this circle of vengeance forever. We can either blow the country away altogether or find a way to diplomatically solve this or get the hell out of Dodge and let them have their oil.
This circle of vengeance can go on forever.
The insurgents are not giving up. I believe it will continue until the last man standing. At that point, we would have lost hundreds more of our young kids. For what - vengeance.

Have you read the liberal blogs? Americans, liberal Americans, are happy our soldiers were killed, overjoyed they were mutilated, and think they got what they deserved.
These are the same liberal Americans who want the Democrats back in power.
They want to give medals to the vermin murderers.
