if you and this girl are friends or if not just ask her alone, only because some girls get nervous around other people, and if you ask her around a bunch of her friends she might just say no or yes and not really mean it. So if you want a real answer ask her alone by saying straight out without beating around the bush....say (her name) may i ask you a HONEST yes or no question?...and when she giggles and says yeah..say would you like to be my date for the prom? .....all she can say is yes or no. if she starts babbling and coming up with an excuse then cut in and say...no need to explain urself it was just a yes or no question if its no, its no,,,thats all, no hard feelings, were still cool...and if she says yes then make plans from that point on..just whatever you do dont look desperate and dont get upset if she says no..there is always a girl who gets stuck without a date on prom night..so play detective, and find another girl to be ur date..

call , write, in person, etc.. she probably will be happy to go with you, she might be worried about not having anyone to go with. Apparently thats common knowledge that she doesn't. Ask her, the worst thing that could happen is that she says no. So what. Get used to it, it will help you in the future.

When she's alone yeah and DO NOT do it with your mates near, that'll annoy her and she may think your taking the p**s with her (depends on the lass). Just ask if she's going with anyone, when she says no then ask if she'd like to go with you!

dont be shy or sly about it. just come out and ask her if she will go w/u. if u avoid the question and just leave hints she might get aggravated and go w/someone else
