That is so normal. I was taking the depo and my period didn't come for a while and then all of sudden it was on for 15 days. Also the depo made me fat.

Yes The depo shot will cease periods in most cases. Dont worry enjoy!!

Yes it's nomal...It's also normal to gain LOTS of weight from the depo....it's horrible and so not worth it....anyway, I was on the depo for a year and did not have my period at all. Switch to the patch...it's a much better option................for a female that is hehehe

very normal i didn't have a period for the hole 3 yrs i was on it the only other side effect i got was some miner leg cramps when i st oped taking it i got pregnant with my 2 ed son with in 6 mon.then received it for another 3 yrs till i stoped again and conceived my daughter then got my tubs tied shes 3 now also i dint gain lots of weight it was only 5 to 10 pounds

yes.

depo shot is very dangerous...i hope you've done the research and asked around. I have had two friends that took it, for a short and long amount of time, and it has had long lasting side effects. one friend got ovarian cancer..the other, her child was born blind.

Yea thats normal if you are a girl. BUt guys dont have them any ways! ANd you gain weight! SO if this is for ur GF let her know!

It IS very normal how-ever I bled continuously for 3 months and my hair fell out so consider yourself lucky
