There is a product called Oops it cleans anything sticky it will remove the sticky part and it even removes gum.

You could try heating it, somehow... That should melt the glue and make it let go a little easier...
...To clean up the white stuff, maybe find another sticker, or even better, a good piece of tape, n' repeatedly stick it to the surface n' peel it off... Gradually, the white stuff should transfer from the door to the tape...

Use a hair dryer to heat the sticker and peel it off. After you peel it off use Goo Be Gone on the door to get the leftover adhesive off.

all things we have around the house and they all work well in removing stickers, glue paper etc.

I have always gotten a sticker off, by simply putting warm water on it, letting it soak in, then gently scrapping it away.

Two words:GOO GONE.use sparingly,wait a minute and peel off.You may have to do it a couple of times.Smells great too.Do not use Goof Off without a gas mask.Toxic smell.
