I'm looking for a game for the PS2 that's just as good and entertaining as the GTA series. Basically any Third-person shooter (other than True Crime & The Getaway) with good missions, where you can drive vehicles, shoot, interact with people etc. All suggestions welcome!
I'm planning to buy the game soon - if it's any good, you'll get the 10 points for sure!

Total Overdose is pretty good. It's alot of fun but tends to get a little repetitive near the end. At only $20 new, it's not a bad deal.

Driver: Parallel Lines is very similar to the GTA games.

I had a blast with Desroy All Humans. No cars tho but there is the spaceship. Try and find a used copy as the game is not that hard

"Gun" it's like GTA set in the 19th century old west with cowboys.

godfather is ok too, but really nothing in this world ive seen yet compares to san andreas!! los santos rules!!!!
