Perhaps there is something about your man's best friend that you really like. Perhaps he is a good dad, really funny or something. It doesn't mean you have ever thought of him that way simply that there is somthing about him that you do like.

It means that you have an imagination. Nothing more.

I've had dreams that I was rich, that I was tall, that I had a several wives (well, I have, but I meant as in together at one time), and that I was a great musician--none of which, besides the parenthetical remark, was true and none of which subsequently happened. I've even dreamed I was a space alien a couple of times and others that I was a woman. Nope, I'm human and happily male, but for a little while one night my imagination played, "what if" for a few minutes while I slept.

Contrary to popular opinion, dreams have no relation to what you believe or have been thinking about. They occur because your awareness has shifted to another spot of all the ones available to a human. At that spot - the things you experience occur. There is an unlimited amount of places that your awareness can focus on. The "reality" of everyday experience is but one of the many that you can experience.

Dreams can be used for satisfying those desires that can not be satisfied in any other way. Simply enjoy your dreams and dont worry and wonder WHY.
