Yes i have. my mum thought it was stupid that i had to check out the house. We moved from this old stone house in which the basement was a different kind of stime and seemed much older. So a Wiccan friend and i went below before we moved in and had a gathering. A gathering is sort of like a seance but real. no Ouija boards, no creaks from beyond. A coven will gather, ceremoniously, with only the light of candles. You must believe or else you'll disrupt the entire process. The candles are then set in a circle into which the questioner will step into. no one else is allowed in. the rest of the coven begins the chant that would have been prepared by the questioner and therefore calling on the spirits from beyond to gather. If it is only one spirit it is likely it will possess the questioner. therefore the questions will be answered. i questioned and witnessed my first gathering from above. when you are possessed you have an out of body exeriencefrom which you watch everything. It's really cool.

Yep. I always take my camera along and just snap pictures of the areas. I have some really great pictures from churches, cemetaries, and a bunch from Old Town (San Diego) and the Whaley House. I took some photos on a local beach at a halloween party and got some very interesting things when the pictures came back. Happy hunting!

I gone ghost hunting ,but everytime I have some sort of experience it seems I never have a camera ready ,so maybe I'm not cut out for the job. I've seen plenty of "orbs", but for the most part I think they're just dust and particles in the air so I kinda just nod them off as insignificant. I have seen some crazy stuff though. If you want to read about of my experiences you can go to my website and click on "Ghost Hustlers" on the home page, then click on "real ghost stories" on the navigation bar to left.If you have one you can send it to me and I'll add it. Thanks for the refresher, I really have to update that section of my site.

Oh yeah. I always go poking around with a recorder and a camera on my own though. Most of the time If I bring people with me they mess it up by screaming or acting foolish. I love to watch TAPS, if I could find a group that was that professional about it then I'd throw a parade.

Yes, and it's a great hobby to have...esp. for people in the Ohio region (I am in Kent, OH near Akron/Canton) because you are pretty central to ghost activity. There is (as Alice Q mentions) the Mansfield aka Ohio State Reformatory (awesome ghost hunts and truly haunted). There is also nearby Moundsville Penitentiary in WV and Waverly Hills Sanatorium in KY. Besides those, tons of spots in Ohio and up New England coast where hauntings occur. I am still skeptical of ghosts and spirits, but recent forays have been altering my viewpoint radically (esp. one in Mansfield).

i don't think in ghosts, yet once, on my pal's birthday, we went with some human beings to a nature park it really is stated to be haunted. that they had all been there in the previous, and stated they talked about ghosts and all that stuff, they even got here up with names for the diverse ghosts. One replaced into said as the fisherman, and yet another replaced into the Weeper, because human beings stated they felt drops of liquid on their faces at the same time as she replaced into round. besides, we were strolling the paths, and it replaced into darkish out. in the course of the full time, I talked about no longer some thing... although, I were given the idea to fall to the again of the gang, so i does no longer be considered. I then picked up a rock, and threw it up ahead into the timber to make a noise. It freaked all of them out. all of them swore they talked about a ghost as well. This adventure made me imagine that a persons' idea in ghosts makes them better apt to really See ghosts, inspite of the actual undeniable truth that none are there...

Yes! Thanks for bringing back some memories lol!
A few friends and I used to be Paranormal Investigators, years ago.
There were many places we went to in England. Unfortunately, we only ever experienced one ghostly event that we couldn't explain, the rest were all able to be rationally explained(to a certain extent) Better than nothing, but the interest waned because of the lack of real excitement, so we ended going our separate ways.
It was fun while it lasted though! (Peter Underwood was our inspiration!)

Yeah it's fun! I've taken paranormal photographs. I captured really good orbs with great density and purple auras around it. Also have taken ectoplasts in my backyard. Many orbs show up easily at a cemetary. I just parked my car outside the cemetary and snapped pictures. I've taken some in motion. It's been fascinating!

yes, we got to go to the bell witch cave 3 years ago.we got some good pictures mostly of around the outside of the cave, not much activity inside. and we also went to the adams antique shope,we got a lot of stuff their,it was right out side of a small cemetary where some of the bell family were buried. it stormed the whole time we were their, just to add more to the feelings of the place.
