I don't like taking antibiotics because they can damage good bacteria. To help increase your good bacteria you need acidophilus, it also helps decrease infections.

You can use a saline solution nasal spray (available everywhere) to spray your nose twice a day. This helps keep your sinuses clean.

To help get rid of sinusitis, then you can try Sinus Buster. It is highly effective way to fight sinus problems. While a nasal pepper spray may sound painful, it is not as painful as straight pepper.

Years ago when I could not afford to go to a doctor, I added some water to Cayenne pepper and sprayed it in my nose. After 30 minutes of crying, sneezing, and yelling in pain, I realized I had "cured" the infection I had. So I think the far less painful Sinus Buster is great.

Sorry, but sinusitis usually requires a two week series of antibiotics as well as an antihistamine/decongestant. I used to get sinusitis 3 x's a year until my Dr provided me with a nasal spray (Flonase) along with the ATB's. They will usually give you this right out of their cupboard if you're not afraid to ask for a free sample. I use Flonase off & on now for allergies & haven't had a sinus infection since.

I have had trouble with my sinuses all my life. My doctor gave me a prescription for Nasonex nasal spray. It takes time to work but it does help. So does having a humidifier or vaporiser on in dry weather. Do you have allergies? These are a prime cause of sinusitis. Benadryl helps but can make you drowsy. There are good non-drowsy medicines like Claritin, Aerius, and Reactin. You may wish to check with a doctor or pharmacist and see if these will be good for you.
