As far as I know, the only US state that recognizes same sex marriage is Massachusetts

In the United States, Massachusetts is the only state in which same-sex couples can get married. There are, however, other states like Vermont that recognize civil unions.

If you would like to get married in Massachusetts but are not a resident, then your ability to do so depends on the laws in your home state. If your state explicitly prohibits same-sex marriage, then you cannot get married in Massachusetts. If there are no explicit prohibitions, then you _may_ be able to get married in MA. That issue is working its way through the courts right now.

Now, having said all that, in almost any state, you can find a church that is willing to host a wedding where you can demonstrate your life-long committment to your partner. It just won't be legally binding in the eyes of the state.

UH, if you are TIFFANY the GIRL, then no.

Plus, you should learn to spell HAWAII. I doubt they'd like your lack of knowledge. And, JSYK, if you end up getting married in Massachussetts or some other liberally retarded state, it will not be recognized in any other state.

not necessarily true ... I assume you are referring to the Defense of Marriage Act, which say that a state is NOT REQUIRED to recognize a same-sex marriage from another start .... but they can if they choose to ...

DOMA is constitutionally dubious ... but of course Roberts and Alito may not care
