On either version.. Once all pokemon are caught (and possibly a few more steps-sorry it's been a while =) ), go to Prof. Oak (not Elm). He'll give you a different pokeball. Go to the forest after Azlea (sp?)- go to the Shrine. Celebi is there- don't know level.

Mew is unavailable in Gold/Silver. Celebi was a promotional Pokemon only available by going to a Nintendo special event and having him traded to you there.
They should both be accessible with a game genie or game shark.

I don't think you can catch mew in those games but celebi is in the forest after you beat the 2nd gym there is a shrine out there and have to find a certain item to get celebi to come out

don't listen to these rejects they probly good to there moms houes at noon evey day to have milk and cookies. LOL you can only get them from a firend or from a nitndo give away but i don't know when tha are. there are roumers that you can get them buy getting all the others on the game. (mew from red, blue, yellow) (celebi from gold, silver, crystal)

go to cerulian city go to the water, sail around until you find a water cave in it should be celebi in the very back.
mew.
almost the same thing except there are 2 caves i think mew is in one of them in the far back of the cave.

I know you can't get a Celebi... You have to go to the cave in Celadon city... The one in the water next to it? You get either mew or mewtwo there...
