Mother rabbit will feed them all, but as the first litter grow too large, or if they push the young ones away from the nips so they can't feed, you will need to suppliment the feed as there won't be enough milk to go around, and mum will run dry. So, you can buy some milk formula especially for rabbits and cats, in the Uk it;'s called Cimicat, and you get it from the vet. It's a milk powder you mix with warm water, and it's especially for rabbits and cats, as they have the same tyoe of nutriment needs. Also, keep mum away from the male rabbit or he will continually impregnate her. Rabbits can get pregnant immediately atfer giving birth if the male is about. I have a rabbit that gave birth FOUR times in a row, without any break, until I removed the male.
I love rabbits. I have 15, all neutered now, so no more babies.
The worse thing to happen to your baby rabbits is that they will starve if the big fat greedy first lot take all the milk and leave mums nips dry. So, go get the mile formula from the vet. Don't use human formula as it has the wrong properties to help a baby rabbit develop it's immunity, etc. Good luck, and let me know how it all goes. Mark Angus, in the UK

Some Mothers will care for the all the bunnies but others tend to get overwhelmed and refuse the new liter, so it would be a safe bet to get some special formula from the vet or some milk that wal mart sells for kittens, just as a precaution.

No, you will not have to take the first litter out, if she has the common rabbit mother instincts she will feed them both. if you need someone to take the babies off your hands , i am the person you are looking for, I love rabbits and have been looking for a few to buy. i am willing to pay for them. you let me know your plans via email--hope i was a help!!
