caddys have aluminum heads as well as blocks, why? cause its cheaper to manufactur but the problem is heat! your heads might have warpped due to over heating or the gasket blew from racing or over revving the engine after starting it up.does a person under 21 drive this car?if so consider big bucks fixing it

Your block became too warm and the gaskets couldn't take the heat, so they failed.

You're probably looking at an expensive repair bill to check out the heads (to make sure they're not warped) and clean out your engine...because when those gaskets blew, they mixed your antifreeze and engine oil together. The garage you take it to should also check to make sure your pistons, crankcase and camshafts weren't damaged.

Please be sure not to run your car now, and keep the coolant (50% antifreeze/50% water) topped up and to flush it every 30,000 miles (or two years) after it's out of the shop, to prevent anything like this from happening again.

Well, try to better this one!! I blew a head gasket on a 1994 Chevy Lumina AND a 1997 Buick Century within a five week period!! My car overheated, and I didn't stop till I got to a service station. In BOTH cases it was too late!! Oil and anti-freeze flooded the engine and it was black!! The Lumina I sent to the dump; the Century cost me over $1300 to fix, including a new engine.

I feel your pain!!

I went back a little, checking out your questions. You had one a while back asking about a "Low Coolant" light. That would probably be why you now have blown head gaskets.

Sounds like you got your Caddy hot, and it didn't like it.
