First of all the term is weed smoker. Not pot head. Please!
Secondly, many enjoy music to relax. Smoking weed causes you to relax. Smoking weed makes you get into the music more intensely, but I have never wanted to get high from listening to any particular music. Just when I see movies like Dazed & Confused...

So, since sixstringschwing is SO much more compositionally inclined than the rest of us, he would know. And, if you've never said "Wow! I gotta get some weed and listen to this again!", you've never had a true musically inspirational moment of clarity. .So much for the element of overachieving.
Oh, yeah, pot heads. I almost forgot.
It's an "octavarium", so to speak. They smoke, listen, are inspired, get creative, inspire, listen, and then smoke some more- they "move in circles". The great ones anyway.

"Pot heads" get high because they like to be high. What they do while their high is subject to personal preference. The way some music sounds is, I believe, effected by the consumption of the drug, but it alone does not cause one to smoke pot or vice versa.
A lot of people get high because they are depressed and they believe pot helps them to forget their worries and relax for a little bit. When used in moderation, this is not a bad thing. People do; however, smoke pot for other reasons and it varies from person to person.

Don't put the blame on the music , I'm more musically experienced than most of you and i never heard a song and said "Wow! i gotta get some weed and listen to this again!". Potheads and the rest of the "420" set are gonna smoke regardless , music or no music.

Studies show that music leads to teen pregnancies. It should be banned until children are 18. It has nothing to offer anyone except headache. A low pitch buzz is a better substitute.

Maybe pot just makes you want to do things that you normally wouldn't do. I like to draw especially when I smoke pot. My creative juices start flowing with the rythem of the herb
