I heard some where recently that sex starting labor is an old wived tale. I had that and it could be contractions called braxton hicks. They are practice contractions. I thought i was having those but i was really having real ones that were just real light. I was also real tight during pregnancy, but i don't know why, maybe because we did not have sex that often. The truth is that you want to carry your baby full term. The longer you hold them the healthier they will be. I went 38 weeks and my water broke on my last doctors visit. My little boy weighed 9.4lbs and is 4mo old now. He is so healthy and big. The bigger babies usually sleep through the night at a younger age. Mine started at 4weeks. It is bliss. Good luck hunm it feels like it will never get here, but once they do you will not be able to remember a time before them!

I had that problem too when I was pregnant whenever my husband and I had intercouse, I feel tightening and later on I feel there was something inside of my vagina that can be fall anytime..it feels like Im having my PMS (pre menstrual syndrom).. i think its normal if you feel that way. My OBgyne advised my hubby not to thrust that much and dont overuse me in bed...Sometimes, tired is twin of being pregnant too especially the baby starting to move in your belly every morning..Try to observe, your baby will start his/her hiccup inside and start to move and change position whenever youre asleep

Im 41 weeks and I havent heard of that tightening. Like your stomach or like cramps. Im not sure, maybe its the start of contractions... but should feel similar to period cramps.

If it's really bothering you, call your doctor. One of the nurses should be able to help you.
