I cant think of even one where its clear that both parents are alive and well... whats the deal? Disney loves single parent households or somethin?

The beginning of Lion King I? And in Mulan, her parents are both alive. That's an interesting point actually, I can't think of too many either.

Oh! What about Lady & The Tramp 2: Scamp's Adventure? Scamp is the main character/hero, and Tramp and Lady are both alive and well as his parents in that movie. And yes, Mulan, too.
