Stress is everywhere, positive and negative. Yes, going on vacation is a positive stress. Having sex? Positive of course.

You know the negative ones already.

How to combat it?

Let me ask you a question: What do we have a lot of but we do not use them in sufficient quantity?

I go outside by myself at night and just scream!! you wouldnt believe how good it feels to just scream. It relieves so much built up tension and stress. Then I go back inside and deal with whatever is stressing me out a little calmer.

I try either getting outside and taking a hike in the woods or use my punching bag.....another alternative is Meditation...I try to concentrate on my breath....I try to clear my mind of everything, which isn't always so easy.....I've even locked myself in my closet and screamed bloody murder or punched my pillow....I still haven't come up with a perfect answer but I will continue to keep on looking! I would appreciate any helpful suggestions!!

I call my boyfriend. If it's him that is stressing me, I go on a long drive, by myself, into the mountains where no one can reach me!

I like to lay on my bed, listen to soft music and go to sleep. By the time I wake up. I am very relaxed.
