no longer all hamsters are a similar, and individuals have diverse experiances with possessing women or men. yet oftentimes speaking, men are quite better laid again than women. I actually have had a male syrian a 12 months and he's amazingly sociable with actually everyone, which includes strangers. He has no situation being petted or taking nutrition from different individuals, and has never bitten. That stated, alot of those with woman hamsters can say a similar. i imagine its the way you're taking care of them that makes them better sociable, and how frequently you cope with them and take them out to play.

I used to go out with this girl and she told me a hamster story. She had two hamsters and there was a tube in their cage that led to the area where the food was. The one hamster would sit in the tube and eat the food until it was gone. Eventually the tube-sitting hamster was HUGE and the other hamster was a shriveled husk (visual free of charge). The huge hamster could barely fit in the tube, but this persisted until the emaciated hamster finally succumbed to starvation. This girl, upon seeing what the one hamster had done to the other (where she was during this seemingly lengthy process i don't know) took the humongous hamster out of the cage and with a pair of safety scissors cut its ears off. I broke up with her soon after this story was relayed to me.

Buy some Tylenol PM capsules, pull the capsule apart, empty the contents, and super-glue one end of the capsule to the male hamsters unit. Also, you may want to save the rest of the Tylenol PM capsules for yourself. The cage is going to be squeaking all night long. You're going to need help sleeping.

you can't neuter a hamster. just buy the male a different cage.
if you can't afford a different cage for the male, give the male away.

I'll ignore your second comment which sounds like cruelty to animals to me.
I'd think putting them in separate cages would be a cheaper way to solve the problem.
