Food for thought. If Giggs had not opted to play for Wales, but instead played for England, would there still be a problem on the left flank?Throughout the 1990s, England would be a much stronger force to be reckoned with. Giggs however, might just be one of the greatest never to play in the world cup.

It know fact Ryan Giggs opted to play for Wales after playing schoolboy level football for England with the likes of Beckham, Butt, Scholes and the Nevilles. I am an Englishman and feel if Giggs had played for England the teams balance would be increased vastly and have improved performance. Although now Joe Cole is doing a better job on the left than Beckham is on the right.

Michael Owen was born in Chester, just lives in Flintshire.....which is literally right on the border of England and Wales. I think they both play for the right countries, Giggs doesn;t really seem to like playing internationals anyway.....saying that, Wales don't seem to get into many international tournaments!

It could just be that giggs is better at taking penalities thats all.
Berbatov is cursed with his transfer fee and he is constantly being judged by it, Remember Diego forlan was given up on at man utd very quickly too and we have all seen what a player he is.
Berbatov could very well go on to be man utds top scorer next season given a chance.
Man utd will change their style of football next year slightly as they normally do and that might suit berbatovs game depending on how they do it.
Some of us fans of smaller clubs would love to be moaning about 30million pound strikers.
