If you are swimming in a public pool, the levels of chlorine are checked frequently, so there is little chance that the chlorine levels exceed what is recommended by public health guidelines. However, I would not swim in a pool with ANY chlorine. Chlorine is toxic and it is absorbed into your body through your skin. it is not the chlorine that makes your eyes hurt it is far too dilute to do that, its much worse than that it is **** all of those young kids pissing in the pool means if u went underwater your eyes will sting. not too worry tho you eyes will clean them self's up soon enough if it still hasn't cleared by the end of a week then go see a dr. (or get somebody help you see one lol only joking) by the time you read this it should be fine.

it matters if you swim with your eyes open or if they are closed. if you swim with them open your eyes become red from all of the water that gets in there. and if you swim with your eyes closed you cant see were you are going. be careful always swim in pools with goggles.
