No, it's your butt that makes your butt look big. Oops. I apologize. That's just what I tell my neice (and she tells me) when either one of us asks that question.
Depending on how the pockets are placed on the back, they might make your butt look big.

Avoid any jeans with back-pockets that have snaps or buttons, they tend to make a large butt look even larger.
