How would one get rid of flies?

I have just one HUGE annoying fly in my PC room. I have tried to get it with a swatter but for some reason the little bugger is to darn fast. It's about to drive me crazy. Any ideas on how to get rid of it? Besides a shotgun LOL.

One thing we have done in the past is you set out a small saucer with some sugar water in it.. or a tea cup with milk in it, he will find it and sooner or later land and drown!! they are attracted to water too.

Buy a venus fly trap or pitcher plant!

with fly spray. it comes in an aerosol can
