Turkey does not want to admit guilt. Admitting guilt may require to pay restitution, not to mention dented national pride.

Because there was no genocide. If you consider the documents and what the qualified historians say you will understand why Turkey does not recognize genocide. Cause you also will see that there never had been any genocide
