Ha! I recently was in this same situation. I do not envy you. but honestly the best thing for you and her is to tell her outright, that it is not working and it will not work in the future. tell her you harbor no ill feelings and that you would like to remain civil. that is all you have to do.
And as far as the work issue, let you boss know of the break up and tell him/her that intend on no drama at work and that you would like thier help in keeping the peace.
Good luck i wish you the best, i can say it is not easy but you will get through this. ^^ most impotantly, stick to your decision! otherwise you both wont be happy.

First of all is she easy to talk to or difficult? You just have to be honest and tell her, rather than string her along and eventually you could hate her to the point of no return so take care of it before it becomes a worse problem, hit it head on, be nice but not to nice, direct but not rude, and you work together well at least be kind enough not to flirt or rub another girl in her face, that is the gentlemanly thing to do.

Just be honest and tell her that you don't think things are going to work out between you both.
Breaking up is not easy and do not expect it to be.
It is something that everyone has to go through and do know that life goes on after a break up.
In my opinion, girls usually get over it faster than guys, so you need not worry too much.

Tell her the truth, it would be uncomfortable the first week, but she will get over it. However do not date anyone else from work because it can bring HUGE complications later on.

Be honest and compassionate.
But please don't use the "let's be friends line". That rarely works in real life and it's just usually easier to make a clean, quick break. Don't drag it out and don't keep her hanging. Especially out of some misguided sense of "kindness".

ohhhh mannnn. that sucks, your life is going to suck for awhile. do it easily. get ready for along day and night, start early so you can talk about it and maybe you can still be friends afterwards. do it in a park or something.

Just tell her you've been thinking about the future and she's not in it. That it's not you but her.
