Direct Democracy. Personal, encrypted wireless devices would allow for a direct vote on EVERY issue by EVERY citizen. If an issue is important, then you vote for it. If you don't care about an issue, you don't vote. Perhaps some sort of incentive program could be instated to encourage participation in the voting process.
Internal economy would depend more on trading of services than on a hard currency. "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need." Communism is not a form of government, but an economy. There is such a thing as a democratic communism.
But this would be different. Basic human needs would be covered by the government in the form of organized trade of services. Food from farms in exchange for electricity from engineers, etc. A second economy would exist for luxuries. This economy would trade on an international scale and allow an avenue by which the citizenry of my nation could achieve an open ended dream, built on the sound foundations of what my government would provide.
Law would be liberal, concentrating mostly on the curtailment of violent crime. White collar crime and petty crime would likely phase themselves out as poverty and hunger are eliminated, allowing for greater participation on the whole in the national economy.

I already did. I founded this country (U.S.) with everyone in it, just like Christopher Columbus did. We have big feasts all the time. There's a problem with mosquitos but I think we'll have that under control. I was totally convinced that the world was round, but now I know the world is flat. I envision corrupt and chaos by 2007 that of the US in 2006. SMILE

If I could found a country, it would fail from overpopulation within a decade. Through computer simulations, research data, and spiritual consultation, I can confidently say that any attempt at establishing a free Utopian state will fail. It will fail primarily from a lack of space and a lack of financial security to safeguard the budding economy from global economic leeches!!

It would depend on the people. Simple farmers need a different administration than do university graduates. Elections and such would be modified to fit the needs and the abilities. Laws would be the hardest problem and take the longest time to make them fair. As with any government, there would be flaws but correctable with common consent.

Like the U.S.A, :) with all the modern conveniences and freedoms, power and greatness, but with the morals and values of our once very Christian nation, as it was founded on true Christian principles.
At present, we are slowly being taken from within, and if this keeps up, may very well crumble as other non-Christian nations did.
But otherwise, our country rocks, and I don't want to live anywhere else. I love the the U.S!:)

Like the USA with less importance on the military and more importance of the happiness of the people. The drinking age would also be 18. There would also be a democracy but no electoral college.

The US comes in a close 2nd, but I don't know if I'm willing to work as hard as it would take to make my own country better.

purely boring so that we can have fun
purely poor so that we will strive to be rich
purely simple so that we will try to complicate
purely innocent so that we can be corrupted
purely genius so that we can change back in a push of button to start all over again
think of it, the country I would like is existing in every square millimeter of the earth
