To keep morons from posting the same dumb questions over and over again. I actually wish it were 10 or 20 points.

to make you check if someone else has answered or asked the question i think. And so you don't ask alot of them and you don't get too many points i guess. I think we should have less taken away also...

because if all you do is ask questions there would be no one trying to answer so yahoo needs you tell work alittle to make this site work and make it fun kind of like a competition
