I listen to hip hop music and actually am starting to write my own lyrics. Do girls see this as a turnoff?
To me i dont think it would be. Just questioning around.

My fiance is a white guy and he listens to hip hop. I actually see it as a turn on. I never really liked guys that listened to that kind of music, but for some reason he is different. He doesn't listen to the stuff they play on MTV, he listens to the real stuff, stuff that matters. I fell in love with him for his personality though, not the music he listens to.

It isn't the guy...it just depends on the music. A lot of girls like hip hop these days, I'm just not one of them. Still, music taste shouldn't matter in a relationship.

I hope so. Personally yes!! It cracks me up to see guys driving down the road, stereo blazing. All I can imagine is them at home with a bottle of Hypnotic and a boom box in their hand. Im all for freedom of choice especially in music but hip hop is so commercial and liked for all the wrong reasons.

My husband loves rap, if it weren't for him I wouldn't hear a lot of it. I love rap and r & b, and dance, I also like rock and country, go figure. I don't think it's a turn off, just so he doesn't think he's someone he's not. We're both white. I'm not prejudice at all I just think white guys who try to dress like rappers look stupid most of the time, my opinion only.

you can listen to the music but don't act like your black when your white it just makes you look stupid

to me guys can listen to any kind of music they want. in your instance its hip hop. im fine with it myself. as long as you dont make a complete fool of yourself by trying to be black. (no offense to black people!) and i think its cool that you are writing your own lyrics! that in my opinion is really hot!

umm...no there is no turn off if you just listen to it...but if a white guy wants to be a gangsta (dresses like one)...then it dont go...i think only African Americans are good at those things...just doesnt match the white guys!

No. See i am black and i don't go judging people about what they listen to. it don't matter what color you are and what type of music you like. if someone don't like it so what. its yo life live it like you want to to da fullest.
