he might be trying to establish pecking order. my gournamis do it as well....however if one particular fish is being ganged up on, more than likely he is sick and gonna be a goner.

If he is well fed, he may look at them like, hey that would taste good, but I'm full, maybe later.

When later comes, be sure there is food available for him, that he won't have to kill to eat.

Check with the pet store about how much, how often, etc.

Eventually though, who knows what could happen!

It might. I use to have them.
Seperate the tank, get another tank, or move their decorations around on a daily basis so they cannot set up territories (they are territorial fish).
I say take the big one to a pet shop and let them have it.

Good Luck.

gouramis become territorial, it might be that you have 4 male fish in your tank.

you can't stop them chasing each other - try to swop 2 males for females.

Probably. My single gourami had a few friends and he killed them all. Keep the bully alone. You can actually train them to keep them active and happy. Mines been alone for seven years and couldn't be happier.

It might. If you want it to stop, put it into another tank.
