As a freelance geneticist/veterinary surgeon, I have been working on chicken lip transplants using the lips of pygmy organ donors. While we have been successful in attaching the lips and necessary muscles to allow them to function, we are still limited by the absence of the larynx in chickens, or any fowl for that matter. We are currently attempting to develop an artificial chicken larynx based on Frank Perdue, who was known to have interaction with the throats of several chickens in Arkansas. Your donations would be greatly appreciated for this important research.
