Brown pants. Brown and black is a cardinal sin! Also blue, but it's not as bad as brown.
Go for black or dark grey with black shoes.

Actually you can pull off brown pants with black shoes...I have seen it work. Your belt should always match the shoes and socks to pants, the rest is more of coordinating. If you do want to do a brown/black combo make sure your shoes are black and shiny and your brown is crisp and clean or its easy to look messy. Other than that, pimp it out
