im a lineman 2.... you'll start getting used 2 it someday. eat a good breakfast and drink alot of water before running. that way you'll keep goin. i started last week and i couldn't do jack..... but this week im getting better. it takes time. And when you not doin anything at the house, just jog around the house bout 5 times everyday.

Its going to take you a good while before you get used to running if you don't run on a regular basis... it took me over a month before I was comfortable running when I was in high school, and I was only 5'10 180lbs, but I still was'nt in great shape at the time... it all depends on what your body is used to...

It depends how overweight you are. 3/4 of a mile isn't that far,you should be able to run that with ease.If you're having trouble I suppose it may take a week to get in shape to run it.

Do a lot of 10-15 yard sprints.

That way when you do run, youll get your endurance up and it will be easier.

I was a lineman(woman) hehe

you shouldda started over the summer and not the day before practice.

and start with short runs and slowly work your way up each week in the distance.

Now that it's starting... (practice) it's a little late because your doing other things too.. like PRACTICE!
