Because your on top of the world when your young. Your invincible! Wisdom or experiences haven't caught up with you yet, neither has "REAL LIFE", but when she does, she gets you! And then you realize that you wish you were a teen again, so you could do it all over. The only thing that matter to me than was boys, chatting on the phone, and going out to parties, and it was great. I think we all should feel like that at least once in our lives. and then we just grow up.

Because a life without ambition/plans is an aimless, boring life, usually. Also, we're young and aren't afriad of death. Maybe you're just afraid of death? I personally, am terrified of dying, but I don't life day to day thinking I'm about to! That's a horrible way to live. You get more out of life if you are laid back and enjoy what you have.

I didn't think that life was forever. But then again, I did my share of dumb things regardless. I guess that I was just lucky that more bad things didn't happen to me. I think that it's not so much about teens thinking that they are immortal, more that they are misguided or just irresponsible

it seems you're just babbling because your supporting paragraph doesn't support your question in any way... haha but i think teens are just young, and they don't realize how quickly they get old... they finally realize that their teen years are over when they're 20, and that's when they start realizing that years fly by so quickly...

I miss that. Not really grasping the finality of death and all that. The hope of a better future.
