I belong to PETA and a lot of animal rights groups. I do all I can to help and I shall continue to do so I am totally opposed to testing drugs, cosmetics or anything else on animals . What do you think gives us that right, except domination and power ?

I have compassion for animals and do not wish to see them needlessly suffer. There are, however, valid reasons to put animals in harms way, like drug testing. Drugs save many lives and make life alot better for humans; and, in my world humans are far more important than animals. Besides the number of animals that are used in such ways are insignificant compared to the whole populations.
In my mind, the energy and resources you expend in this project could be far more productive in helping suffering humans in hospices or hospitals...or if a political bent is your drive, how about rallying for saving unborn babies from getting there brains sucked out into a sink before they are able to get there first breath...most often because someone else deemed them not convenient.

When it comes to spending any time and money in saving a life, I will always choose a human being over an animal. I would hope all people would. No thanks on the invitation with your link.

Hmmm... there are some very valid reasons to end lives of animals- we do have to eat ya know? What would you do if you had to choose between performing tests on mice to find a cure for cancer, or your mother dying from it because all testing stopped?

I save animals all the time. There was a cat at my fire escape window this morning and I brought it inside. My youngest cat isn't very happy. I am hoping to find the owner...

I help animals anytime I see one in need. If I come across an injured animal I take it to the nearest wildlife refuge so they can help it. Anytime my kids or kids in the neighborhood sees an injured animal they come to me.

If only we used this much zeal to save people then the people would respond better to saving lower species.
