strong 45-- i guess it must be possible if women say that they didnt know, but i think there MUST be some sort of signs, light periods, weight gain. but i suppose that if someone just is not too "in tune" with their bodies it can totally happen. i would be in shock to find that out!!!!

This has always been a question in my mind because I have a personal connection with it. My mother was fifteen when she got pregnant with me and was sixteen when she had me. She swears to this day that she didn't know she was pregnant with me. I've heard of others who say the same thing. I've struggled with this question for many years, especially after giving birth to three wonderful boys. While I was pregnant, I most definitely felt changes: I gained weight, I rode an emotional roller coaster on a daily basis, and my menustration stopped...completely. My mother's argument was that she was already chubby and didn't gain much weight. She also claims that she still menustrated, but much lighter. Okay, maybe, just maybe I can give her those...but what about once the baby starts to move? My boys kept me up many nights kicking anything and everything that got in their way! Plenty of nights, I cringed as they tried to move my ribs into my throat. Many other nights, I laughed as they pushed their little behinds up in the air making my tummy lopsided. Is it possible that I did not feel inclined to move so much or at all while I was still in the womb? My mom says I didn't. Others claim the same experience. What do you think? Do you think it's possible to be pregnant and not know it until you actually deliver the baby? And why? Keep in mind, this has not just been documented by teenage girls, but also by women who have had other babies!

Well some of these people have already recently had a baby and they think it is their body just getting back to normal. I have a good friend who with her third child did not know she was pregnant until she was almost seven months along. However she had already had two children in two years. And she had other health problems (with her iron and irregular cycles etc) she thought everything she was going through was normal until she all of a sudden started feeling the baby like crazy. She isnt a big girl and with her third even at the end she didnt get big. She carried him mostly in her back and you couldnt even hardly tell she was pregnant.
Some of these people have never been pregnant and are in denial. Or do not realize that these are pregnancy things
Some of them do not experience any of the early pregnancy symptoms or do not realize they do. And then do not get large. I know someone who only gained 14 pounds her entire pregnancy you can do that in a few months without being pregnant!

There are many many reasons!

Ok some women can have periods the entire duration of their pregnancy (though that's not a good sign) some of them my have had reallly irregular periods to beging with.
You're only suppose to gain like 20-30 lbs during pregnancy...Some people can be so fat that 20 lbs over 9 months isn't a lot of weight.
I mean not everyone has the nausea and that sort of thing.

It's totally possible...though you'd think these women would have figured it out. =/

I actually know of a few cases of people that it happened to. One had been told that she would never be able to conceive again also denial sometimes happens 3 of four of my childrens preg test was negative when taken in the first 3 months, but i thought the weight watchers diet just wasnt working, so some are on the pill and it or they dont work . some people are so irregular or they think they are going thru "the change" early. one friend had already adopted 2 children cuz she was told she could not hav kids. We hav had women in ER that are surprised that the backach is not cancer & over in a push.

Some women continue to menstruate during pregnancy, some babies are inactive, and some women blame symptoms such as morning sickness and fetal movements to an upset stomach or gas. Some women too, are ignorant to the fact!

merely to allow you to understand females can conceive at 50.the overall menopause age is between 40 8 and fifty 5,the area said as premenopause is amazingly susceptible for a lady to get pregnant.the in reality element is that the genetic ailments are better straight forward in this age as well because the actual condition of a lady, that would reason tiredness and complications by the labour.otherwise she will absolutly have a toddler if she isn't in menopause.

k well first off not all women have symptoms they are the lucky ones morning sickness should be called any time of the day sickness
...a good friend of mine didn't even show till she was 7 months preg.
second some women don't know until they are far along in the pregnancy because they are "heavy set" and the "baby bump" doesn't show because they are already "round bellied"

well u can still have periods while u are pregnant, but it seem abnormal to me and abnormal periods. anyway i guess if u don't feel that something is not going normal as gaining weight to fast and ur stomach is hard. thats when u might be prego, or ur period is normal at first and then its starts being abnomral as like ur not heavy or just spotting or just that ur periods don't last long as they should like every month maybe go to ur ob dr. its weird.

The size and weight of a woman has nothing to do with wherther or not her knowing she is pregnant.
Most women either go into denial, because they dont want to face that they are pregnant.
The 2nd is you could still have your menstral cycle and just not know....it is a mystery...is there any gyne drs. in the house.

I read once about a woman who was surprised to go into labor. She had had a tumor years before, and had assumed it was a regrowth of the tumor. Why she did not go to a doctor in all that time was never explained. Also, I had not heard that tumors can kick!

I don't think she was the brightest bulb on the marquee.
