I used to be that way.

You just need to start being friendly with more people, and then you'll realize that getting that kind of attention is not so bad. And you can try something like a fun public speaking class, or hang around friends who bring out the best in you. Others will see you shine, and pretty soon, you'll be able to be yourself around a lot more people! It just takes time. :)

I don't see anything wrong with being shy and quiet. There is a time and place for everything. If your shyness turns to fear and gets in the way of social activity then there may be something more serious going on. But everyone can be LOUD and boisterous. Some people are the show others are the audience. Be the audience and enjoy.
Good luck .

there must be a reason that you are scared or don't have that much conversation potential and it's understandable when you're parent's said don't talk to strangers as a kid. Try asking you're "old friends for hook ups.
