The US needs to beat Ghana by alot to even have a chance at round two, can they do it?

They have to beat Ghana by I think 4 or 5 to win the tiebreaker if Czech ties or loses. That is impossible for a team like the U.S. playing against Ghana.

Actually, the odds are (slightly) in their favor. With Gyan out for Ghana, the US has to be favored. Given Koller's absence for the Czechs, I would reckon that Italy may be the favorites there, so I think the odds are fairly stong that the US will make it out.
That said, Ghana is by no means a slouch. For some reason, I just feel that Italy is going to win on Thursday, basically eliminating the Czechs.

i dont know.....they are doing a pretty sad job already. they won their game agianst itally by a easy shot....or an own goal.
